Last day to apply for the 2024 Program. Shortlisted startups to participate in Final Selection hosted by Humanitas University
The time has gone by quickly and our Call for Applications for 2024 Program is closing today, May 17th! In this connection, we encourage digital health startups to submit and finalize their applications to VITA Accelerator before the deadline. We are glad to announce that the Final Selections of the VITA Accelerator’s 2024 Program will be hosted by Humanitas University on June 12-13th. Located in Milan area (Pieve Emanuele), Humanitas University is an international Athenaeum dedicated to the life sciences with education and training fully integrated with the Humanitas Research Hospital and Humanitas Research Center.
Humanitas University hosts more than 2000 students, offering undergraduate and postgraduate studies with Medical Specialty Schools, as well as masters, advanced training programs and PhDs. Humanitas Research Hospital is the first Italian hospital to be quality-certified as an Academic Hospital by the Joint Commission International, heading a group of hospitals in Italy, located in Milan, Bergamo, Castellanza, Turin and Catania. It is one of the most technologically advanced European hospitals and internationally renowned for its research on immune system diseases. Humanitas has specialist units treating oncological, cardiovascular, neurological, orthopaedics, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
VITA Accelerator is proud to have been collaborating closely with the Humanitas Research Hospital in the common effort to help develop the Italian health innovation ecosystem and support early-stage companies in the segment. In particular, we are supported by Victor Savevski, Chief Innovation Officer in Humanitas, who will be also welcoming our startups during the Final Selections.
After Final Selections, our admission decisions will be made and communicated during summer and the 2024 VITA Program will kick off on September 9th in Salerno, Palazzo Innovazione, Ecosystem Partner of VITA Accelerator. The Program will continue in a hybrid mode (online together with selected in-person sessions) till December 2024 and will culminate with a Demo Day on December 5th, 2024 in Milan.
