We’re delighted that Petrone Group will return to VITA’s 2023 Acceleration Program as a Corporate Partner. Operating in the pharmaceutical, parapharmaceutical and health sector since 1965, the Group handles the distribution of all types of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products worldwide with its main offices in Italy and branches in Germany, Ireland, USA, Singapore, Spain and France. A proud family business in its third generation, it provides a wide range of services that cover the entire product lifecycle: from clinical trials to early access and logistics.
The Group is a full-service provider to any pharmaceutical company bridging into Europe, in addition, it handles import, export and distribution of all types of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products and acts a one-stop shop that can supply brand name drugs (branded) or an equivalent (generic), for human use or veterinarians. It also provides commercial and trading services of medical devices, medical equipment, and cosmetics worldwide, and offers a full range of services to manage the logistics and active distribution of IMP, RX, H and OTC drugs across Europe, with tailor-made services and a multi-channel approach throughout the supply chain. Petrone Group is also the main shareholder of an FDA/EMA approved cartridge production plant for dental anesthesia products, Pierrel and its company, Euromed pharma, supports the distribution of hospital-line products with a particular focus on orphan drugs for rare diseases.
Petrone Group has accumulated deep expertise and interest in catalysing investment projects of highly innovative companies, keeping it synergic to the Group’s core business with the aim of bringing mutual benefit and industrial growth. Petrone Group has acted as an investor in various innovative companies.
